BLACKMORE HOUSING
FOUNDATION, INC.
About Us
As human beings living in a physical world, shelter is an essential need.

As spiritual beings living in a material world, searching for & maintaining a true sense of peace is also an essential need.

In both cases, life often involves unexpected events that can (and often do) compromise one or both of these needs.

Founded in 2019, Blackmore Housing Foundation is focused on addressing the physical & spiritual needs of the people we serve.
Our ministries include supporting people by providing temporary and transitional housing (which could become necessary due to a multitude of reasons; such as being displaced by a fire, going through a time of transition due to personal reasons, searching for a new place to live, etc.), while simultaneously strengthening their spirit by sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ through our ministries of fellowship and prayer.
One foundational element of life is the environment in which we live. When people think of the words "shelter" or "home" for example, a multitude of memories, images, and emotions often arise; and at the center of it all is often the desire for a feeling of safety and security.
In other words, people are seeking peace.
In many ways, shelter can provide a decent portion of this sense of peace, as long as we recognize our need for a "spiritual shelter" at the same time, especially in times of uncertainty.

When unexpected things happen in our lives that affect our shelter or the place we call home, the resulting stress can cause us to lose our peace.

At Blackmore Housing Foundation, we are here to support people in times like these where uncertainty and fear often come into play, primarily by redirecting their focus towards God as their provider in all things in an effort to help them regain their peace, and in the short term, we can also be a resource for their housing needs.

God bless you!

"For I know the thoughts that I think towards you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." - Jer 29:11-13 KJV
